The 2025 Gyeonggi Women’s International Forum,

hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by the Gyeonggi Women & Family Foundation,

This year’s forum is held under the main keywords “Women and Human Rights, Peace and the Peace Economy.”

It will feature two sessions that explore how women’s participation can contribute to building peace in times of conflict and discuss practical approaches to realizing these global agendas in Gyeonggi Province—a border region that stands at the intersection of division and reconciliation.

The forum will also examine Gyeonggi Province’s vision of a Peace Economy from a gender perspective,

seeking ways to ensure that women’s voices and experiences become a driving force in shaping inclusive and sustainable peace.
